The Government of Canada started Financial Literacy Month as a way to encourage Canadians to boost their personal finance knowledge and take stock of how their finances are holding up.
This year’s official theme is Managing Your Money in a Changing World. Each week will focus on a sub-theme to help build financial resilience in a changing world. the sub-themes are:

- What to do in a financial emergency
- Optimize your financial health
- Protect your financial rights
